We are a small, student-run team from the Czech Republic competing in the FIRST Tech Challenge competition. To learn more about the competition itself, visit the official website for the FTC.
Although we are a small team, we are very dedicated to the FIRST motto of Gracious Professionalism and we continue to improve our skills and knowledge in the field of robotics. Our only source of funding and support so far has been our school Open Gate, which we are very grateful for.
We aim to inspire others to pursue their interests in robotics and STEM, not just the FTC competiton. Our goal is to share FIRST Tech Challenge and it's values with others and hopefully inspire them to create other teams in the Czech Republic.
A large part of our robot design is based around the use of 3D printed components on our printers by Czech company Prusa Research, which we strongly rely on due to the high import fees of parts from the US. This practice has allowed our engineering team to expand their knowledge of CAD design and granted us some benefits, such as rapid prototyping and the ability to create custom parts.
We have won multiple awards in the competition, including the Collins Aerospace Inovate award and the Think award.
